It is important for you to take every
precaution when you see BEES on your property. Africanized
bees are in Arizona and are known to be very aggressive.

Homeowners should NOT spray the swarm with water or with
an over the counter pesticide. Water will anger the bees
and an incorrect choice of over the counter pesticides could
only aggravate them more. Stay away from the swarm. Coming
as close as 90 feet to the swarm may be interpreted by the
bees as an act of aggression. Angered bees may pursue a
person or animal by the thousands. It is important to avoid
an attack by bees. |

Once you begin to see a congregation of
bees in a specific area, you need to proactively seek a
professional. Bees can make up to 6 pounds of honey in one
week. That is almost a gallon of honey! The hot days of
summer will melt the wax and cause the honey to drip! This
will also attract other insects! |

When you call our office, please let us know generally
where the swarm is located, including how high it is off the
ground. It is important for you, your family, and your pets
to stay out of the area where the bees are located.
